Comment on the US Access Board’s proposed new guidelines for shared-use paths

The U.S. Access Board has announced the publication of the Board’s Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) on Accessibility Guidelines for Shared Use Paths.  As a first step in the rulemaking process, the Board is requesting public comment on the draft definition of “shared use paths” and on the draft technical provisions.  Additional information is also requested through specific questions included in the notice. Public comment will help to shape the next step in the rulemaking process, a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM).
